Validation Group Developments May through August 2025

Board Developments
The Board is still unchanged. There will be a Board meeting on 17 November 2025 online before the Equipment Qualification Forum, where topics for 2026 will be discussed. The results will lead to a group activity plan for 2026.

Guideline Developments
More practical examples were collected for the appendices - with the aim of publishing them later as ECA booklets or videos. A booklet has been drafted which should provide suppliers with information about the Good Practice Guide more easily.

Miscellaneous

• A new DoE training has been scheduled on-site in September 2025 in Berlin, based on a survey on DoE conducted in 2024 
• A new one-day online training about AI in qualification and validation took pace on 24 September 2025
• Expert meetings to discuss problems have been accepted and successful. They will be continued throughout 2025. The first meeting about knowledge management was held on 11 April 2025. Another meeting took place on 10 October - on Computer System Validation in Equipment Qualification
